Original X-Vest 1.0

Designed this a while ago when I was looking to design a cosplay costume. Its been an idea ever since I thought to cosplay as Cyclops (my all-time favorite X-Men character). Now I think I finally get a chance to use it. Not only do I expect to actually make this awesome vest, but I'm hoping it'll be written into a future issue of original story !

The idea is a hearkening back to the original five in their fun little yellow and black uniforms. In many ways my personal take on what they would have worn in the movies. Its a fun cross between the two.

I visualize it as a cloth workout vest. Students would wear a black long-sleeved mock-turtle neck shirt underneath it and a pair of black pants (probably something akin to BDU's or tactical pants seen [link]) and boots. The black hood is directly attached to the vest, but I decided not to illustrate it on the back view. Gloves would be matching golden-yellow and fingerless.

Someday soon I think. Yeah.

First off, the resounding support of this design has been encouraging! In fact, its been so popular that someone was inspired enough to MAKE one!
